Author T.C. Boyle won the Robert Kirsch Award for lifetime achievement at the 2015 LA Times Festival of Books. Boyle is considered one of the greatest American writers, who manages better than anyone to have his finger on the pulse of time, and to penetrate an unraveling American society. Previously, Boyle won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, the Prix Médicis étranger, and, earlier this year, the Rea Award for the Short Story.
