Jill Lepore on ‘Wonder Woman 1984’

In 2014, Harvard historian Jill Lepore wrote a book about the history of Wonder Woman and her creator.  After the movie Wonder Woman 1984 recently premiered, she wrote an article in The New Yorker stating that the film about the iconic female superhero ignores her history as a female rebel. Lepore visited the John Adams in 2019 to discuss her book These Truths – A History of the United States.
