The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields commissioned the Dutch art collective Studio Drift to create an interactive meadow. This large-scale, kinetic light sculpture comprises of 18 mechanical blossoms that open and close in response to visitors passing below. The installation will be on view for one year until 22 February 2020. Click here for a preview.
Studio Drift was established in 2007 by Lonneke Gordijn (1980) and Ralph Nauta (1978), who both graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands in 2005.
